About Dental's Best

A free service that connects you with a qualified dentist.

Dental's Best matches people who need dental care — whether they're looking for a general dentist or researching dental implants — with practices in their area that handle their specific need. The matching is free, you control whether you actually book, and we cite sources on everything we publish.

What we do

Two things, in plain terms:

  • Information. Plain-English content on dental implants — what they cost, how the procedure works, what recovery looks like, and how implants compare to dentures and bridges. Every clinical claim links to a credible source you can verify yourself: Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic, the American Dental Association, and the NIH/NIDCR.
  • Provider matching. When you tell us what you're looking for and where you live, we connect you with a practice that handles that specific need. For general dentistry, we work with established matching partners that maintain national networks of vetted dentists with reviews, profiles, and online booking. For dental implants, our matching network is being expanded.
How matching works

Three steps. About a minute.

1

Tell us what you need

Pick "find a dentist" or "I want dental implants" and answer a couple of quick follow-up questions about your situation.

2

Share your zip code

We need your zip to find practices in your area. We don't ask for full address, date of birth, or anything else that's not relevant to the match.

3

Get connected with a provider

For general dentistry, you'll be handed off to a matching partner where you can browse provider profiles and book online. For dental implants, a matched provider in your area will reach out within a day or two.

How we write the content

Most consumer-health sites either lift content from older medical sites without attribution or generate it with AI and skip the verification step. Neither approach holds up under scrutiny. Our editorial standard is straightforward:

  • Every quantitative claim cites a primary source. If a page says "after one week" or "about $X" or "X% of patients," there's a linked source from a recognized authority — Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic, ADA, AAID, NIDCR, or a peer-reviewed paper. If we can't find a credible source for a number, we either remove it or rephrase it qualitatively.
  • Plain English, not clinical jargon. We translate terms like osseointegration to "the bone grows around the implant" on first use. We don't expect you to learn dental school vocabulary to understand a webpage about your own care.
  • Pages are dated. Every clinical content page shows when it was last reviewed. If a page is stale, we either update it or pull it down.
  • Risks are written honestly. Our risks page covers what can go wrong with implants: gum infection around the implant, nerve injury, sinus complications, smoking and diabetes risk factors. Lead-gen sites often skip this; we don't.

Our partners

General dentist matching is fulfilled by established dental-practice platforms that list and vet dentists, host reviews, and handle online booking. When you choose "find a dentist near me" on Dental's Best, we hand you off to one of these matching partners; the specific partner depends on availability in your area at the time you submit, and the network may evolve as we add or change partners.

Dental implant matching is being expanded. The implant market has different economics than general dentistry — fewer practices, higher per-procedure cost, and more variation in surgical experience between providers. We're being deliberate about which practices we add to the implant network.

If you're a dental practice that handles implants and would like to be considered for our matching network, get in touch.

What we are not

Dental's Best is not a healthcare provider. We do not perform dental procedures, prescribe treatment, or provide medical or dental advice. The information on this site is for general educational purposes and is not a substitute for consultation with a licensed dentist. Decisions about your care should be made between you and a qualified professional who has examined you in person.

Providers in our matching network are independent practices. Dental's Best does not employ, supervise, or guarantee the work of any provider. Reviews and ratings on partner platforms are operated by those partners under their own policies.

If something goes wrong with care you received from a matched provider, that's a matter between you and the provider — but we want to know about it. Tell us what happened and we'll review whether the provider should remain in our network.
